It’s a tuba.
If its a tuba, I think it must have been stored out in the shed for the winter as it looks really dirty - worse yet, maybe spiders are nesting in it. Mick
it looks like metal lined concrete water piping.i have installed 36 inch pipe like that on a well pump drive line but quarry water feeds etc might that or it is a chimney of sorts
You are partly right PFH, it is man made - and a pipe of some type. It exists behind a waterfall and runs up to the mill that sits on top.
