Looking for the Pit!

Dropping down through a hole in the forest floor we found ourselves in an underground stream channel. I wore neoprene waders and for most of the journey, my winter coat. In the above picture I have just removed my coat as the walls are pressing in and though it is mid- winter I am now very hot. The pit becons from not far off – I think I can hear the water falling.
