Visitors From Across The Border

This is Tom (helmet) and Scott ensminger (ball cap), they are members of the Niagara Frontier Grotto and are quite active in the Niagara area caving scene. Scott is a prolific writer and has published several books, one of which I posess, “The Caves of Niagara County New York. At this time Scotts greatest focus is on waterfalls of the region. He says that he has over 1000 on file. He considers us (north of the border) fortunate as most of our falls are protected by environmental legislation and so they still remain beautiful and accessible.
This picture was taken at the resurgence of that stream that passes under the road that I mentioned in the last post. Its a little to cold to explore the cave today so instead we walked down stream to a beautiful waterfall.
