This is what “we made”. Looking down the open joint I am seeing a water filled passage that would be accessible to a person that is willing to get wet and cold. I think this goes on with a few inches of air space but I am not willing to push this till summer. The water is deeper than my elbow and I have also found what might be the resurgence in the nearby valley. There is a pretty impressive waterfall there and a small grotto where the flow trickles out just above the Rochester shale.
