This is my good friend Doug. We conduct most of our explorations in tandem and at present He is the editor of our club magazine, “The Toronto Caver”. I am big on cave digging, Greg Warchol offers technical expertise and Doug researches on the internet. It is rare to attempt anything without first sitting at Doug’s computer table pouring over ariel photos that he has aquired. If you need information on caves Doug has it, if he does not have it, it does not exist. In this picture Doug rests in the middle of the Maitland River. He is suffering from a workplace injury and the road to recovery is long and rocky. walking is encouraged, caving is not.
