Here is an amazing place that I had visited this last Year. Literally hundreds of mines dot the landscape around Cobalt Ontario. This particular place is called the Little Silver Mine. At the bottom there is a huge pool of water. Who knows how far in it goes. Over the time of its operation 420 million ounces of silver were extracted from the rock. There are several head frames in the town itself and as the locals will tell you the land beneath the town is honeycombed with tunnels.
